Information Governance: Controlling Information as a Strategic Enterprise Resource

Information governance is the management role and responsibility applied to information as a resource of the enterprise. Information governance is simply the execution of management leadership (direction) and control (assurance that direction is followed properly) in order to manage information as an enterprise resource.
